Shewolf Events invites adventurous women to experience the magic of a Helvellyn sunrise—one of the Lake District’s most iconic and rewarding mountain moments. This overnight adventure blends challenge, connection, and the beauty of the fells at first light. Hike with a supportive group of like‑minded women, push your limits, and create memories that stay with you long after the sun comes up. The Adventure This overnight experience takes you into the heart of the Lake District. Led by an experienced mountain leader, you’ll walk through quiet valleys and along dramatic ridgelines under the night sky. As dawn approaches, we’ll reach the summit of Helvellyn—one of England’s most celebrated peaks—just in time to watch the sunrise spill across the landscape. At the top, you’ll enjoy sweeping views across the national park and a moment of shared achievement with your group. It’s a powerful blend of natural beauty, personal challenge, and the strength of female companionship. Hike Details Distance: 4.5 miles (7.2km) Duration: 5–6 hours Difficulty: Intermediate Area: Lake District Ascent: 2,400ft / 731m Peak: Helvellyn Ideal for: Women with some fell‑walking experience who feel comfortable covering up to 6 miles and navigating rocky paths, steep ascents, and uneven terrain. Itinerary Day 1 — 16 May 2026 Meet the group at The Horse and Farrier Inn at 5pm. After checking into your shared accommodation, we’ll enjoy a relaxed group meal in the inn’s restaurant. The evening is yours to unwind, get to know your fellow hikers, and prepare for the early start. Day 2 — 17 May 2026 We’ll wake between 1:30–2:30am to begin our ascent beneath the stars. After meeting our mountain leader, we’ll set off toward Helvellyn’s summit, aiming to arrive as the sun rises over the surrounding peaks. Once we’ve taken in the views and captured your summit moment, we’ll descend back to the valley. On returning to the inn, you’ll enjoy breakfast and have time to get ready for your journey home before checkout at 10:30am.
